Post 2021 Lay-Z-Spa Airjet pump repair guide (grey square Pump)

E02 error/impeller replacement

For the First step to Replace your impeller you will need a Philips screwdriver and remove the 6 screws as identified in the photo (pump needs to be flipped upside down). then pull on this panel it will still be connected by a ground wire. there's no need to disconnect this wire we will be able to do what we need while this stays connected once panel is removed disconnect the water pump electrical connect as show in photos below there is a twisting lock on the wire to secure it so just unscrew this so the wire will be able to pull out. also loosen or remove the jubilee clip as shown in the photo below

The next step is to remove the 6 Philips screws around the center on the pump which can be found when the pump is flipped upside down. please remove the screws and then lift the lid off carefully as the control panel cable will still be attached. you will best best to next use some wire snippers and cut the 3 small tie wraps  which tidy the wires up and hold the control panel cable secure. once these are cut disconnect the control panel and remove the lid and put it to 1 side. as can be seen in the photos below

The next step is to undo the 4 screws that secure the heater brackets in place. once these are remove you should be able to lift the heater up enough to access the jubilee clip (you can remove/loosen either of the 2 jubilee clips shown in the picture and either loosen it or remove it. this is what holds the water pump in place so once its loosened or removed you can flip the pump and disconnect and remove the water pump which you will be able to remove from the bottom of the pump.

If you have got this Far Well Done you should now have the water pump in your hands and ready to replace the Impeller.

Next remove the 6 screws around the center of the water pump. then split the housing in 2 and remove the main water pump seal that sits in the grove around the outside on the impeller. Now comes the important part all you need to do is remove the old impeller but also remember to remove rubber end caps as these don't always come out so just make sure they have been removed and then replace them with the new ones and insert the new impeller and then just do everything in reverse and your welll on your way to being back up and running
